About Jimmy D. Brown

Hi — Jimmy D. Brown here.   While I’m usually not shy about writing, I’m not a big fan of the “about” pages.   I’ve always found them difficult to write without sounding like unabashed bragging.

When I tell you about myself below, just remember that I’m honestly not trying to name-drop or highlight my accomplishments … although that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.   It’s just something most people want to read about, so here goes…

I’ve been one of the featured speakers at the world’s largest internet marketing seminars, such as the Big Seminar and the System Seminar, although I’ve purposefully been a recluse the last couple of years.  I’m spending a lot more time with my family and in ministry work.  That’s why we do this business, right?

To free up time for more important things.

I’ve been interviewed, quoted, modeled, consulted and credited by some of the most successful marketers in the world, like Yanik Silver and Jim Edwards. Most “gurus” have learned something that they credit to me … and, let me tell you, the same can be the other way around.  I’ve learned a lot from the same guys that have taught you.

Those who’ve submitted testimonials for my products are like a who’s who of internet marketing…

* John Reese
* Armand Morin
* Allan Gardyne
* Terry Dean
* Paul Myers
* Stephen Pierce
* Jim Edwards
* Alex Mandossian
* Phil Wiley
* Ryan Deiss
* Jason Potash

Just to name a few.

I’ve created a LOT of products, membership sites, coaching programs and more since I first came online back in the late 1990’s.  You can see most of them listed at http://www.123webmarketing.com

My latest and most popular products are in
the side navigational panel to your right.

People ask me all of the time what are the “must haves” for making money online.  And I always tell them the same thing.  There are only three things that you need to have a hugely successful internet business.  These are the same three things that I’ve focused on since my first successful business that I launched in August 2000.  Here they are…

1) An offer.

2) A list to promote the offer.

3) Traffic to build the list.

That’s it.  End of story.  You need nothing else.

To be sure, there are many variables and options in each of those.  But, at the end of the day, those three things will build you an internet business like you want.

My own personal recommendation for these is simple …

1) An offer.

Start a membership site where you can get paid month after month after month from the SAME customer.  You can get started in as little as 48 hours with only ONE lesson if you create a “fixed term” autoresponder membership site.  Click Here for complete details.

2) A list to promote the offer.

I always recommend the List P.R.O.F.I.T. System for anyone wanting to build a list.  It starts from “nothing” and takes you all the way to not only having subscribers on your list, but making money from them.  Click Here for complete details.

3) Traffic to build the list.

There is only ONE traffic source worth talking about.  And that’s free partner traffic.  Most “gurus” get the overwhelming majority of their traffic from this source.   The most “authoritative” course ever created on getting other people to drive free traffic to your site for you is Sales Army Secrets.  Heck, even Allan Gardyne of AssociatePrograms.com USES it and PROMOTES it as an affiliate — and he’s considered THE go-to guy in affiliate program expertise.  Click Here for complete details.

Anyway, that’s who I am.  That’s what I do.  If you focus on those three things as I have for the past nine years now, that’s all you need.  Everything else is a distraction.

On a personal note, I’m happily married to Paula.  We’ve been married 15 years and have an 8 year old son, Jacob.  We spend a lot of time traveling together with our pet dog, Sparky.  I run a lot (marathons, half-marathons, 10K, 5K - you name it!) and play way too much tennis.  I’m a committed Christian serving in my local church, speaking at conferences and participating in mission trips.

I’ll close with one of my favorite quotes that has always motivated me to TRY things, to take my best shot at things.  I hope it motivates you too.

Wayne Gretzky once said, “100% of the shots you don’t take don’t go in.”

Take your shots.

God bless,
