Have you ever wished someone would do all of the “research” for you so you could just cut to the chase? I know I have. There have been many times I’d like to not waste hours of my life sifting through low-quality articles and blog posts to find the occasional gem.

If only someone else had written this article for me to read a long time ago. Fortunately, I’m gonna save you the trouble of getting double vision from staring at your computer screen trying to find some good internet marketing reads.

Below you’ll find some great “tips based” blog posts that are filled with meaty ideas. Some of these authors you’ve probably heard of, some you might not have heard of. All deserve to be included for providing some golden nuggets in their content.

I was sorting through my computer when I happened upon something that I wrote a LONG time ago about making money with “reprint rights”.

The following is a report that I wrote and published back on April 6, 2003. That’s right … SIX YEARS AGO. (Which is like 60 years in internet time!)

As I was reading through it I found that most of what I wrote about back then has since become common practices. At the time, this was all unheard of stuff.

I remember speaking at an event shortly after this when Paul Myers said to the crowd of my presentation, “This is cutting edge stuff folks. This is stuff hardly no one knows about.”

It wasn’t long after that when I started the entire PLR market with my “Products In The Rough” lineup which birthed Nicheology.com the first major PLR site.

Little did I know how things would change during the next 6 years. Several of the people I mentioned in the article are no longer active marketers. Sadly, Corey Rudl was killed in a tragic car accident. Some of the terms used in the article have changed (”affiliate” programs were more widely known as “associate” programs back then). I love the reference to me making “$400-$600 per month with affiliate programs. I thought that was all the money in the world back then. My how things have changed.

But the content is still right on target.

I just got back from a weekend trip to Nashville where I ran the half-marathon. It was very hilly and unseasonably warm in the mid-80’s, but I was still able to beat my old PR by more than 2 1/2 minutes!

I was looking forward to the 13.1 mile run and that attitude probably helped a lot in overcoming the conditions.

(In the interest of full disclosure I was Probably looking more forward to the pre-race pasta meal which probably also helped in overcoming the conditions. LOL)
